Atenway is a Spiritual Community that centers around worship of the divine source of life – a Father deity whom we call Aten. Aten is an Egyptian term for the solar disc, but which encompasses much more than that. In the same way that the rays of the sun are the source of all energy of this earth, Aten is the source of all energy in the universe. Ancient Egyptian Atenism was an exclusive, proto-monotheistic form of worship introduced during the 18th Dynasty by a Pharaoh known as Akhenaten. Atenway is a modern revival of this ancient faith, updated with the teachings and ideals of the First King of Atenway, a man named Atenmose or Mose. King Mose seeks to be a divine shining representative of Aten on earth, until his time expires and his spirit returns to Aten.
